COLDMELT® Technology Based on WoodWelding®

The COLDMELT® technology from Würth leverages the WoodWelding® platform to provide an innovative and efficient fixation technique. The cost-friendly solution is applicable in several markets, specifically one’s that use lightweight materials.

Addressing the Hand Tool Market for Carpenters

The WoodWelding® and Würth teams collaborated to develop a next-generation hand tool for ultrasonic fixation in lightweight wood-based materials. The device is compact and reliable. It is currently being used for carpenter applications i.e., caravan manufacturing.

Serving the caravan market

The use of lightweight materials has increased, especially in the caravan and RV industry. Lightweight construction is about reducing the mass of materials and replacing them with efficient, weight-reduced materials. It is all the more important that the fasteners ensure stability and safety under high loads.
